mutt - "No authenticators available"

You want to send a mail via mutt's internal SMTP library and you get "no authenticators available"?

Your "mutt -d 2" log contains

SASL: No worthy mechs found
smtp_auth_sasl: (null) unavailable
No authenticators available

Solution? Yes, look here:
aptitude install libsasl2-modules
